WHO ARE WE
Z’s Antiques is a family owned and run business which started with John Zevetchin Sr. in 1974. John is the brains of our business having been raised by his father, George Zevetchin and mother, Anita, from Little Ferry, NJ, to recognize, appreciate and restore antiques as a young boy. Over the years, John shared his knowledge with his wife, Ann, running her throughout the US and the antique market in Englishtown, NJ in the 1970’s, NY in the mid 1980’s, TX to Nebraska in the late 1980’s and New England in the 1990’s to present.
After living in upstate NY, and a 5 year stay in Texas, the Zevetchin’s settled in CT during the late 1980’s and established todays Z’s Antiques.
Our staff has grown to include all four our children, Carissa, John, Jimmy, and Peter who were raised in the knowledge of buying, selling, restoring and moving antiques. The family grew with the adoption of Kenji, our youngest son, and now includes son and daughters-in-laws, extended family members, neices, nephews, grandchildren, neighbors and anyone who helps load and unload our trucks and trailers.
The store consists of a large 10,000 square foot warehouse distribution center in Willington, CT on Rt 32. It’s loaded with furniture and accessories to fill your home or office needs. We carry both refinished and original finished furniture, wicker and assories from the early 1800’s through the 1970’s.
